Ravi Pillai Academic Excellence Scholarship
The scholarship is a joint initiative by the Ravi Pillai Foundation (headed by businessman B. Ravi Pillai) in partnership with Norka Roots (government of Kerala agency for non resident Keralites). In April 2025 government of Kerala has officially approved its implementation by government order (G.O. Rt. No. 377/2025/NORKA).

Who is eligible for Ravi Pillai Scholarship?
Here are some eligibility requirements as listed below:
- Applicant must be Kerala origin and rod in recognised institution in India.
- Even students admitted by nationwide competitive exam into institution outside Kerala are eligible.
- The family income should not exceed 2.5 lakh.
- Student already receiving scholarship of 50000 or more from other sources are not eligible.
- Maximum of two children per family can get the benefits.
- Bank account must be Aadhar link to get direct benefit transfer.
