This was designed to give women a safe and comfortable travel option while creating self-employment opportunities for women drivers.
During the scheme launch event in Chennai, the Chief Minister handed over the first batch of a hundred pink-coloured autos to women drivers. These autos are meant for women only and to provide safety for female passengers.

- Distribution—In the first phase, 100 autos were distributed in Chennai. A total of 250 autos will be rolled out in Chennai, with possible extension to other districts.
- Training for women—The Selected beneficiary will undergo one week of training on driving, road safety, and passenger care by the skill development corporation.
